The crowd is bouncing from the very beginning of the concert and an early performance of the extra-thrashy favorite "A Lesson Never Learned" has the guys in the audience moshing hard and the girls throwing their bras on stage; lead singer Danny Worsnop grabs the flung underwear and hangs it on his microphone stand. Appropriately enough, after scooping up the lingerie, Worsnop dedicates another favorite, "Not the American Average," to the ladies in the house.
The show is high-energy all the way through but there are a couple of quieter moments; slow motion shots of the audience accompany the spoken word piece "Dedication" and the band also tones down the thrash for a run through of "Someone, Somewhere."
"Reckless & Relentless," "To the Stage" and "Dear Insanity," tunes from the Asking Alexandria short film Sin + Self Destruction are played back to back, leading into the big finale of "Morte et Dabo," "Alerion" and the band's favored show closer, "The Final Episode (Let's Change the Channel)."
Still to come on the 2-DVD set are the band's 2011 "Reckless Halloween" show from the Wiltern in L.A., all of the group's official video releases (10 altogether), Sin + Self Destruction and a generous behind-the-scenes reel. A head banging good time will be had by all.
