Due August 15, "Balance (Expanded Edition)" features the original album along with a selection of audio and video rarities, while pulling together a selection of non-album tracks from the period, including the B-side "Crossing Over," along with "Humans Being" and "Respect the Wind" from the Twister soundtrack. Metal legends Metallica saves this weekend's Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium after they offered up their stage to organizers to use after the EDM event's main stage burned down earlier in the week.
The festival, which featured sets Steve Aoki, Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5 and David Guetta, and more, was almost cancelled until Metallica provided the stage that they had stored in Austria to organizers. (continue)

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the pop punk outfit, Acceptance, have announced their reimagined version of their quintessential album, Phantoms, called Phantoms/Twenty, recorded by original producer, Aaron Sprinkle, amid the band's reunion and milestone anniversary. And while the band did redo their parts, this isn't just any standard re-recording.
To give new context to its profound and lasting legacy, Acceptance enlisted a wide range of artists across various genres, many of whom were inspired by the band. Renowned guitarist Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots and Trip The Witch, along with acclaimed UK vocalist Pete Shoulder, have released their latest collaboration, One More Satellite available now via Symphonic.
Originally conceived as an instrumental project, One More Satellite took a turn when DeLeo felt a few tracks would be better served with vocals. He sent raw phone recordings to his longtime friend Shoulder, and in short order, the songs returned - transformed with Shoulder's expressive vocals and poignant lyrics. Parker Barrow have released their brand new single "Novocaine", along with an accompanying lyric video. The track is the follow-up to the southern rockers "Make It", which arrived in April, and both comes from the band's forthcoming sophomore album.
"Novocaine came from an idea Alex, our guitarist, had in his back pocket for some time," says Parker Barrow's founding member and drummer, Dylan Turner. "At the time he showed it to us I had recently written some lyrics with no real melody or "song structure" in mind, but I immediately realized the riff he brought to us was perfect for the lyrics I had just written."
